We have over 12 different varieties of hops in stock right now and Brian will show you just how easy it is to grow and care for these attractive, productive vines (technically, 'bines'). Calvin is an award winning expert in the field of beer and wine making and has extensive knowledge in harvesting, drying and processing hops, as well as the ultimate selection of bittering, aroma, flavouring and dual purpose hops for usage in beer brewing.

About Calvin: In addition to owning and operating True North Brew Supply, CanadianHomebrew.com, and Conner's Wine Cellar, Calvin writes a monthly 'Craft in the Fraser Valley' column for the BC Craft Beer News publication, sponsors the Chilliwack Cultural Center's Craft Beer Fest and, in the past two years, Calvin has won dozens of medals for his beer recipes! He is constantly on the lookout for the newest and best yeast and hop developments, working with both regional breweries and UFV to break new ground. He is truly a beer savant!

We're celebrating by hosting 'Summer on the Patio' themed seminars that weekend and we invite you to join us! The focus will be on container gardening to show that even the smallest home can still have a garden, and a bountiful one at that. See below for all the details or link to our PDF Document.

"Garden Days is Canada's coast to coast to coast, three-day celebration of our National Garden Day which is held annually on the Friday before Father's Day. This three-day program of activities and events is for gardening enthusiasts, families, schools and tourists alike. Garden Days is an opportunity for Canadians to enjoy their own garden, visit or take part in their favourite garden experience, get inspired at their local garden centre or travel to a nearby destination to enjoy their favourite garden."
