Flowering Guide

Visiting Minter Gardens is a treat in any season, having been skillfully planted to take advantage of Nature's ever changing scenery.

In April and May...
Remarkable, massive plantings of spring bulbs are in full bloom, along with great displays of rhododendrons and azaleas.

In June...
Our late-blooming bulbs extend spring into early summer, and the perennial, early annual, and rose gardens begin to burst bloom.

In July and August...
The fragrance of roses, and their accompanying riot of colour, are sensational. Also see the Gardens in peak summer annual and perennial colour.

In September and October...
Beautiful autumn foliage, ornamental grasses, and kale, bring warm and earthy hues to the garden. Texture is paramount, and fall pansies, mums, and late blooming perennials each have a chance to show their under-rated beauty.

Throughout winter...
The Gardens are closed, but for holiday celebrations at Envision Conservatory. Book your holiday event in this grand room with views to frosty and snow-dusted gardens.
